August 30, 2024. Addcomp designs,optimizes and installs integrated automation systems for composites, tailored to meet your needs and budget. These cells use the latest in digital and robotic technologies that have been developed to democratize composites automation for even small companies and research labs.

 

Addcomp works with customers to integrateAFP-XS and AFP-X Multi-Tow automated fiber placement heads — as well as theSCF3D continuous fiber AM system — into tailored robotic cells. Options include:

-  Small to large robots

-  AFP/winding/3D print heads

-  Rotary tables

-  Linear rails

-  Additional axes for tape/tow winding

-  Safety enclosures

-  Tape slitting capabilities.

 

Addcomp also integrates Adapa’s family of digital, adaptive molds into automated cells to produce 3D-shaped composite materials and panels.
