About Addcomp
Addcomp's mission is to make composites automation more affordable via 2 innovative technologies: AFP — through a partnership with Addcomposites, a startup in Finland with a plug-n-play system called AFP-XS that mounts onto almost any robotic arm and is easy to program using its own software, Addcomp offers a modular, lightweight system enabling small companies access to automated layup via lease per month or bought outright at a fraction of bigger industrial solutions used by Aerospace OEMs.
Addcomp is the North American distributor for the AFP-XS and AFP-X Multi-Tow automated fiber placement heads, with optional additional tape winding technology and the SCF3D continuous fiber additive manufacturing system. Adaptive molds - Addcomp is also a distributor for the Adapa adaptive mold technology. The synergy with bespline, Addcomp sister company and first North American industrial user of the adaptive mold technology, allows rapid testing and process development for the companies seeking to implement the technology.
